Amblyopie-Screening

Amblyopia screening is used for the early detection of visual impairments and can be performed for the first time in the first year of life.

We can now carry out amblyopia screenings as part of preventive examinations.

However, since not all health insurance companies cover this additional preventive examination, please check the Homepage of the BVKJ-Service GmbH of the Professional Association of Pediatricians and Adolescent Doctors under contractsPlease check with your health insurance provider for more information.

If your health insurance does not cover the costs, we also offer the screenings as an IGeL service (20€).
